Show Notes

Welcome back for Episode #13 of the Last Call Trivia Podcast! Join the Trivia Team as we start off with a round of general knowledge Trivia questions. Then, it’s time to choose your player character for a round of Video Game Trivia.

Round One

We kick things off with a Lyrics Trivia question about the 1979 earworm, “Escape.”

Next up, we have a People Trivia question about a famous inventor who helped cure Mark Twain of an uncomfortable ailment.

Round One wraps up with a Presidents Trivia question that asks our team to name the U.S. President with a specific phrase inscribed on his tomb.

Bonus Question

Today’s Bonus Question is a follow-up to the Presidents question from Round One. Our Trivia Team is asked to identify when the last living descendent of this President passed away. They have an interesting methodology behind their answer, but will it be enough to earn them the Bonus Point? Listen in and find out!

Round Two

Much to the joy of at least one member of the Trivia Team, the theme for Round Two of today’s show is Video Game Trivia. Ready, Player One!

The category for the first question is Common Bonds, and the Team is asked to identify a military term that also appears in the name of a popular video game series.

Next up, we have a Characters Trivia question about a star from several classic Nintendo video games.

Round Two concludes with a Movies Trivia question that asks the Team to name the arcade game that MGM sent to Matthew Broderick to help him prepare for his role in WarGames.

Final Question

It’s time to cap things off with a multi-part Final Question in the category of History. Hopefully you’ve brought your sea-legs along for this one!

In today’s Final Question, the Trivia Team is asked to place four famous ships in order of their maiden voyages from earliest to most recent. The Team is quickly able to identify the maiden voyage date of one of the ships, but will they be able to correctly place the others? Listen in to see if you can help sort them!
